TCPP has an excellent fire retardance due to containing the phosphorus and chlorine and also gives properties like moisture proof, antistatic ect. TCPP is soluble in benzene, alcohol, carbon tetrachloride and other organic solvents, but not soluble in water and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
APPLICATIONS:
TCPP is used as a fire retardant in PE, PS, phenolic resin, and rubber etc. And it is used in combination with diantimony trioxide to enhance diantimoney trioxide's fire-retardant effect.

TCEP
TCEP is mainly used as a fire retardant for rigid polyurethane foams. It is also used as an additive in the petrochemical industry. It has very good fire retardance due to its P and CL.
APPLICATIONS:
TCEP is widely used in the areas of polyurethane, acetyl cellulose and nitrocellulose lacquers, PVC. It gives a self-extinguishing characteristic. Other associated properties are: water resistance, weather-proof, heat and cold resistance. Normal usage is 5-10% in a polyol blend.
TYPICAL PROPERTIES:
Appearance: colorless to straw yellow transparent liquid
Specific gravity(15/20?): 1.410-1.430
Acid value (mgKOH/g): ≤ 1.0
Water: ≤ 0.1
